Should I run NPM run build/prod on dev or prod?
- cranberryturkey 2y agoi run mine in prod. better to build on the machine you're running the code on. I'm sure people here will say otherwise, but that's what I do and it works fine.
- vincent_s 2y agoYes, but as the article points out, there's a risk of the site being offline for an extended period if, for instance, the build process fails or is unusually lengthy.
- cranberryturkey 2y agomine does the install in parallel and its only offline for about 30 seconds.
