Ask HN: Can Google hire satya as it's CEO?
What are the legal implications? Would satya accept if offered higher salary?

- theGeatZhopa 2y agoNo seriously. Why would they want to do it? In Satyas position, he knows far too much of Microsoft's interna. For Google, it would be nice to know, but they can't use this directly nor indirectly. It's like Mercedes going to bmw to learn something.. it doesn't make sense, as development and production are completely owned and done differently. Satya is not an universal swiss army knife, nor is he the one knowing everything. If you wanted Google to succeed like Microsoft did the last months, then - leave Satya where he is and instead take the other guys doing the actual work.
