Rust really seems like the perfect language (Along with Elixir, Python, and Typescript, of course). I'm really looking forward to seeing it become popular on microcontrollers, since I don't really do any compiled work outside of embedded. I'd really like to see ESPHome start moving to rust but I'm not sure if that will happen.
