I don't think it's business acumen. The story I keep hearing from doctor's is, too expensive, too much debt. Of the doctor's I know that own their own practice, they work much less than others (fewer/shorter days) but they spend muuuch more time with each patient. They spend time with you, not a rushed, inexperienced PA.
