Twist is a better Zulip. Zulip has some awful UX decisions, though the chat experience is definitely a step up on Slack.

- tiffanyh 2y agoTwist is hugely underrated and doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
- stavros 2y agoI love Zulip, but Twist's free tier seems to be restricted enough that I'm put off trying it. Maybe a month of retention is OK practically, but I'd hate losing conversations if I don't end up needing it enough to pay, so I'm not even inclined to try.
