> Believe it or not, it’s entirely possible to scroll past a trivial opinion or comment and move on. It's also possible to not have to broadcast your entire life publicly on social media platforms. It's sad that social media obsession is what end stage Internet looks like. But it makes sense: we're social creatures and a 3-year-long pandemic didn't help. I myself have deactivated almost all of my social media and dating apps. It's difficult since so much of our lives are online these days, but connections I make in real life, over coffee or a cocktail, tend to be much more rewarding.
