Gamers like to get mad and overreact about stuff sure but there are some legitimate issues here, it's not purely just gamer-whining. If you bought a game and now there's just no way to play it with your friends anymore, that's bad. If you bought a game, and suddenly you are forced to share all your personal information with an additional third party, that's also bad.
