I hadn't heard of either of those sites. To be honest, I didn't know of an efficient way to give <$10 to non-profits without half of it going to overhead costs. This makes it super easy for me to give small amounts, with the added social features. Most non-profits I know that raise <$10 amounts from lots of people do it in person with cash. If it works, this could give them more options. So for me, it could actually change non-profit fundraising.
