I met Dick at the Voyager Restaurant in Mojave, and he was very friendly. At the time I had a Grumman Tiger, the same model he and Burt once owned. He made small talk about his fond memories of the plane, but honestly I was just a little too star struck. It was surreal talking to someone who had done so much being driven by an incredible passion for aviation.
