- matheusmoreira 2y agoThere's also a thing called authoritarian judge-king-dictators who are above the law and have run out of shits to give about your rights. In Brazil for example there's this one supreme court judge who has threatened to apply totally arbitrary hourly fines worth tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to anyone enabling such "subterfuge", as he calls it. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Brazil went full China.
