The europeans seem to have succeeded in the middle state would you say? they have sacrificed some competitiveness for a more stable social framework. Not sure I agree that poverty is the default state no matter what.
- mantas 2y agoThe european way right now is to be a freerider. Get military coverage from US and sell assets to China/Russia/etc to get some money for now. It will be interesting times once easy money dry up and US tells us to pay for our own defense.
