What I was trying to get at is for other people (who have less thick skins), it can really get them down. But it shouldn't since if they're eliciting emotion that's great." Yeah, I'm kind of sad you had to include this update. I felt the article was poignantly written. I felt your insights were clear. I wonder if the reason you were misinterpreted by some is that these people had already made up their mind about what the article was about before reading it.
