It all depends on your life, but for me just knowing when to use integrals and derivatives is plenty.
- itishappy 2y agoTotally agree, I definitely use more calculus than most! Wolfram Alpha and the like also make up most of the gap. The main issue I run into is manipulating mental models, visualizing how they interact and combine. If I were to try to make a programming analogy, it feels like I know how to work with `fold`s but don't understand recursion.
