  They might be well short of 1 trillion trees, but they've "saved" 2.6 billion trees. That's pretty massive and I don't think having such a lofty goal detracts from that accomplishment.

    Right, I don't think anyone expects him to actually save exactly 1 trillion trees. the article is paywalled so I can't see it, but the title appears overly negative for what is likely a good thing.
