Where does this trope keep coming from that all AI engineers make 7 figures? I'm technically an "AI engineer" but I barely make 1/5th that amount. Not every AI engineer is a PhD holder creating new models from whole cloth. Some of us fell into it, and handle more mundane bits, like orchestration, deployment, and integration of models into existing software.
