- coxley 2y agoI'm confused — how does this relate to the title?
- shizcakes 2y agoIt’s the cookie consent form being discussed.
- serial_dev 2y agoExactly, it's about the cookie consent. I was a bit shocked when I saw that, and thought it's interesting, so submitted it. I expected 10-50 "partners" but definitely not 800+. I guess that is why most websites just list their "partners" and hope nobody will actually count them.
- ekidd 2y agoIf you have not yet visited the site, you will see a popup stating "We and our 838 partners use cookies", with the usual options to agree or disagree. However, their opt-out process takes only two clicks, so at least the GDPR is working that well.
- rspoerri 2y agoAfaik disagreeing should be as easy as agreeing. So I don't think it's a GDPR-compliant implementation. Also disagreeing should not be discouraged by visual methods (such as different colors) or making the button look as it's a disabled button (as it does in this example).
- MattRix 2y agoIt’s funny that the button to close the popup without agreeing is disguised as a subtitle.
