They like to call it nudging. If you or I did it it would be causing and abetting. I understand the attractiveness of this tactic. It’s easy to get people to do things when you can fabricate a grievance for them — you can even get middle class college kids to rise up in support of terrorists. But this should be illegal and instead those people should be be forced to get psychological treatment rather than be entrapped.
