- swores 2y agoWhat's new is it's the first time an animal has been observed treating a wound with plants we know to be medically beneficial. It's not the first time we've seen animals use medically beneficial plants (orally before) and it's not the first time we've seen attempts to treat wounds (previous by placing insects on them, but we don't know if that was medically beneficial or pointless action).
