Spotify is still cheaper for two people with the Duo plan. Add the Jam functionality and shared playlists for social events (since about everyone has Spotify already). And then add stuff like a Linux desktop app with MPRIS command support and Spotify Connect for portable speakers. At that point I notice the Spotify moat is actually quite substantial in my use case and switching to another service is pretty much out of the question.
