Suspicious deaths of whistleblowers is terrible PR for Boeing. Seems unlikely anything nefarious would be going on as it only invites additional scrutiny. Unless maybe we buy into the conspiracy that Boeing needed to send a message to future whistleblowers. The airline manufacturing industry has few employers. The threat of being blackballed for future employment is much more of an incentive to keep quite IMO. But maybe I'm being naive? Or maybe there's some backhanded government connection that someone outside of Boeing wants to keep quite.
