That's strange. I'm a moderately active eBayer and I've never heard of that happening without cause. What's ironic is that someone has been harassing me (as a seller) and I can't even talk to a human being at eBay to report them or give a nuanced explanation of what they've been doing. The options seem to be "report violent/hate speech" or block them from bidding on your listings -- but not messaging you. It's been said breathlessly but this move toward forum and chatbot-based customer support really, really sucks.
