- mytailorisrich 2y agoAnd then what happens when it's those migrants' turn to retire? Calling on immigration to "shore up" anything is a lazy solution that does not actually solve any issues because it's just kicking the can down the road, and also creates many more issues. In this case, 24M over 30 years in a country of 47M means the destruction of Spain as a nation. Ultimately it is for technology (automation, AI,...) to help us massively boost productivity so that we can overcome the end of population growth.
