The exact same refrigerants that were used in US automotive air-conditioning, although now they moved on or are moving from R-134a to HFO-1234yf. I still have a dozen vintage cans of R-12 but no vehicle that uses them.

I replaced all my r12s with propane. Worked much better than the 134 and it was cheaper.
