- zer00eyz 2y agoWow, the pen is responsible for literacy. It wasnt the printing press and then education that got those numbers up? And that 90 percent literacy rate at the end of the article? Really? 90 percent of men, globally, 82 percent of women... Or 76 percent of adult Americans...
