The $1 MICROCONTROLLER (comparison of cheap microcontrollers) (2017)
- aappleby 2y agoBit outdated now. The CH32v003 is 10 cents, roughly equivalent to an ATTiny, and easily available.
- lsllc 2y agoNeeds a “(2017)” suffix, but otherwise a great article.
- Brian_K_White 2y agoGuy does months of work assembling a ton of info and analysis, the page scrolls for days, and the first comment is gee couldn't you include purchase links for my extra convenience?

- RetroTechie 2y ago(2017) Extensive writeup of all the pro's & cons of various parts/families. And a nice guide on what to look for when selecting a part. But ~7y is a long time in electronics world. Eg. RP2040 is missing from this article. Dual core Cortex-M0+ @133MHz & loads of peripherals. Last I checked €0.89/pc in small quantities. Also many software issues may have been ironed out in the meanwhile. Or some of the mentioned parts disappeared from the market.
- yjftsjthsd-h 2y agoOh that's too bad - I was hoping this was an update with some of the fun new options like the CH552G:(
- jakupovic 2y agoWow this is a ridiculous amount of information. Great work author. I see people commenting this is pretty old, but still great work and still pertinent.
