Cold-(Brew) Outreach: Landing my first big client at a coffee shop
- zero-true 2y agoHey HN! Just wanted to share a milestone for my startup. I've been working on creating an open source SQL+Python notebook that you can share as an app. For those of you who are familiar it's basically an OS hex.tech competitor (check out our gh here if you're interested: https://github.com/Zero-True/zero-true https://github.com/Zero-True/zero-true). We recently got to the point where we felt like we could sell the product and platform and I closed my first "big" deal. I feel that this story is quite common in the startup world but I never expected I would meet my first client in a coffee shop. We've been at it for a while because we felt that there was a real gap in the way that people communicate data insights in both large enterprises and small teams, but we are always happy to hear any all feedback. Let me know what you think and if you're interested in trying out the product or simply connecting!

- Martynstrydom 2y agoThis is mad - great things happen in east village
- zero-true 2y agoPeople are definitely doing business in NYC
- wm2 2y agoNYC startup scene is arriving...
- bhav10clear 2y agoThis is awesome I'm genuinely convinced startups with a story like this will minimally grow to at least 100M Burritos in ARR within a few years
- zero-true 2y agoThat seems to be the trajectory haha
