Yeah it's pretty good! I wrote a few hundred line build script for a Windows project last month. I knew no powershell last month, and now it makes more sense to me than bash which I've used badly for 25 years. Actually on Linux I tend to use Ruby for any non-trivial scripting, and it feels much closer to that. So it's probably no coincidence that I've got on with it.
