Everything Curl
- vivzkestrel 2y agocan you kindly add an example of how to check if a websocket connection is good or bad via curl? I see a section on websocket and while it covers the options, there are no concrete examples
- jmholla 2y agoYou might get better visibility opening an issue: https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/issues https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/issues
- maayank 2y agoIs it a valid use of the issues mechanism? I’ve always seen it as exclusively a bug report mechanism and the rest as spam. Maybe my etiquette here is too old fashioned
- mksybr 2y agoFeature requests happen in issues too, and this the source code for a book, so an example seems appropriate
- dabber 2y agoIt definitely depends on the preferences of the project but GutHub issues for feature requests is fairly common. For a long time, GH didn't have a better place for them. These days the "discussions" feature can be enabled and some projects prefer feature requests be added there. This repo has it turned on, but idk what their preference is for requests: https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/discussions https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/discussions
- remram 2y agoThose are the type of issues they track: https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/labels https://github.com/curl/everything-curl/labels
- urda 2y agoWoah this is an awesome resource! Thank you.

- ezequiel-garzon 2y agoI use curl often, and this is a great source. Unless I'm missing something, the command line options are not listed fully. Of course, they are available in the man page, and that's why I wouldn't open an issue suggesting it, but I think it could be handy.

- b5n 2y agoI've built a few projects on top of libcurl, the documentation is great, they've made it very easy to get started. Big thanks to everyone involved in the project.
