I do work for others because I'm not rich enough to survive without a salary. When I work, I of course do so with skill and professionalism (which I do take pride in), but that's where it ends. I only take pride in the work I do for myself and as a service to the community. If I'll have no rights to the work, I take no pride in it; it's merely a mercantile exchange.
