- SOLAR_FIELDS 2y agoIsn’t the problem with dotenv that it’s not a formal specification? The closest to a specification is the “reference” nodejs implementation. Even across languages that aren’t shell the behaviors differ to some extent. I think also it’s not just comments, there are probably some other edge cases that can’t be parsed as legitimate shell code either.
