Xbox Console Sales Are Tanking
- jay_kyburz 3y agoI can tell you right now why this is. It's the dumb naming convention. The next Xbox should just be called the xbox 6, there should be only one model, and it should look different to this generation, and it should not ship until the ps6 does. Non Gamers, which one of these sounds the most resent and powerful? Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S
- johng 3y agoI'll vouch for the above. I haven't purchased an Xbox since the One X.... at least I think it was the One X. I don't know what came after it or which is the most recent, or how many iterations there have been since then. I'm not a big Xbox user but I've owned every one they made up until the One X... I know exactly which generation of the Playstation is current though, despite only owning one PS3 and used that only casually years ago. Their naming convention is as bad as Intel's crap.
- alpaca128 3y agoNo, I don't think the names are the main problem even though they don't help. There simply is no reason to buy an Xbox. No noteworthy games or features that you can't get anywhere else. Instead they have such a bafflingly bad UI and audio connectivity that I'd rather buy all the games again on PC than turn that thing back on.
