I'd just looked at the Dell U2723QE in the past week. It's great pick with the hub and all--but the "IPS Black" aspect isn't quite all that much better than previous IPS UltraSharp. Dell now has IPS Black monitors with 120Hz refresh at lower 2560x1440 resolution. My ideal monitor might be a 32" 1440p (or wide 3840x1600) VA panel (for better blacks/colors) with high/variable refresh rate. It would mainly give up maximum brightness, so for use in a controlled lighting environment. Still looking.
