    Volvo is a publicly-traded Swedish company, in which Geely have a majority stake. Volvo cars are designed and manufactured in Sweden, as well as in China and elsewhere. Polestar is also a Swedish company, designed in Sweden but mostly manufactured in China. They're expanding production in the USA and Europe (Belgium).
