It is standard behavior on Windows. The issues you run into come with plugging and unplugging screens. If you leave them plugged in they work like that. I know

It is standard behavior on Windows.
The issues you run into come with plugging and unplugging screens. If you leave them plugged in they work like that. I know it's not helpful for laptops that get moved around.
