I can only imagine the uproar if this was happening to the users of any other company. But it's pretty muted here with a lot of consideration given for apple rather hostility. Nice to see.
- CodesInChaos 2y agoOther big identity providers suck too. For example, google attempts to extort a phone number by randomly locking me out of one of my accounts.
- kmlx 2y agoi switched to passkeys on google and now i no longer need to input codes or passwords. there are caveats to passkeys thou.
