Ubuntu 24.04: This great new Linux distro isn't just fast – it's a fortress
- tssva 3y agoIf the new installer didn’t crash on me every couple of minutes I could see for myself.
- namegulf 3y agoUbuntu dist is consistent and getting better every release, did you try the ubuntu 24.04 server? We're using 22.04 and it's pretty good
- wkat4242 3y agoThis reads like an advertorial: > an outstanding OS for everyone and every job. No it's not for every job. There's still a huge "app gap". I use FOSS yes but I don't recommend it to literally everyone yet. Maybe even never. And that's ok. Also, praising it as a "fortress" without actually explaining why. This article is just pure fluff. I wish someone would do an in-depth review like John Siracusa used to do with macOS releases over at ARS.
