So a private company can shut down or ban users as it wishes. In this case, the key fact is that Congress passed a law.
- jemmyw 2y agoHowever, they didn't pass a law shutting it down, they passed a law about location of ownership. Therefore it is still the company making the choice to shutdown vs selling, moving, or taking another action to comply.
