Roast our app and product landing page
- barkdoll 2y agoHowdy HN folks, We are a 2-man team trying our hand at building DropFi, an app to help people share their links and media across their local devices without a server. Right now we have a beta sign-up for people interested in testing the app out. We are open to any kind of feedback and want to know what others think about the idea or if they even find it useful. The beta features sending text/hyperlink content across device clipboards, but we hope to further expand it to support files, media, and any other arbitrary data. The current direction we are thinking of is to provide cross-platform functionality akin to Apple's AirDrop, but if users find it could be helpful in another way, we want to keep an open mind. The true goal is to build something people love and can use to eliminate their own inconveniences. Let us know if you have any honest thoughts, good or bad, we are all ears!

- barkdoll 2y agoAbsolutely, we should work on optimizing them. Thanks for this! We will try to make the page load snappier.
