I stopped not because they are less enjoyable but because they are too enjoyable. When I play games, I inevitably end up extending my gaming sessions when I get caught up in excitement. This is especially true with fighting games. I find that unacceptable since I have many other hobbies that I want to give my time to. It is just easier to avoid the temptation of extending my sessions than to fight it.
