Show HN: YYNN – Rate Anything
- wilg 3y agoI had this idea about 8 months ago and made a really crappy prototype (which I posted to HN). Sort of like Rotten Tomatoes for everything, based on structured Wikidata data. I had a bunch of new ideas so I've been working on it a bunch over the last few days, and I think this version demonstrates the potential a lot better. I also had some fun doing a passwordless sign up flow in a way I think makes sense for most websites these days. All you need is your email to sign up, with optional passkeys support. Please let me know what you think!

- wilg 3y agoActually - extremely strange. My passkeys implementation just stopped working and started failing to verify the keys with no code changes on two completely different applications... very strange! Edit: Weird... only in Chrome with 1Password. Just stopped working today. Must have been an update that borked it?
