So I'll reiterate here that the article is pure unsupported nonsense, which not just lacks concrete examples, but any justification at all for the viewpoint presented by the author. Missing the last train doesn't mean you can't take a taxi to that party (or have a good time elsewhere, for that matter) even when there's "no second chance" to get a ride on that specific vehicle.
