- incomingpain 3y agoWhat I like about this post is that it shows that it's starting around the late 1990s. "Bowling Alone" being published in the year 2000, means the problem was from before. You then have bad actors like Jonathan Haidt who cherry picks his data to allege it's social media's fault... you know from practically a decade after the fact. What's also interesting is that trust in institutions moreso started dropping years later probably around 2003? But also overall trust in your proverbial neighbour is low as ever. I think I need to write an article referencing this article.
