- phone8675309 2y agoYou'd have to know how many people have downvoted this to know that for certain.
- sethammons 2y agoHe has previously said that there is governing logic in place to put the breaks on rapidly progressing stories to act as a dampener on potential contentious posts
- kevingadd 2y agoThreads with comment counts vastly exceeding their upvote count historically get suppressed, it's an anti-flamewar mechanism. Not sure if it's still in effect, but it would have applied here based on the # of upvotes.
