Show HN: Ditch customer support and install an AI chatbot on your website
I've started building Ping Parrot a few months ago, and now it's finally ready to be shared with the HN community!
Let me know what you think :)

- scblock 2y agoNo one wants to use a shitty chatbot.
- racional 2y agoAnd to "ditch customer support" means to ditch your customers.
- JohnFen 2y agoIf the only "customer support" a company offers is to talk to a chatbot, I think of that as the exact same thing as not having customer support at all, even if the chatbot can be talked into letting me talk to a human.
- idanmasas 2y agoThat’s plain stupid… “Even if the chatbot can talked into letting me talk to a human” - dude, this is what most companies operate on these days. You don’t get to speak to a human agent if you don’t have to. Most companies let you speak with their AI agent first, see if it can answer your question, and only if it’s not or you’re insisting to chat with a human, only then allow you to. You guys clearly don’t have a business or one with very low traffic.
- racional 2y agoAcidly insulting people who question your business model is a great way to drum up support for your business. Perhaps you can whip up a bot to do this as a service, and bundle it your other product offerings.
- idanmasas 2y agoNo, it doesn’t mean that. Ping Parrot lets you “ditch customer support” 60% of the time, which means it can answer most questions well without needing you to take over, and the customer will be happy with it because they got their answer faster.
- idanmasas 2y agoI wonder why this market is so big then :) Clearly you don’t have a business or one with very VERY low traffic. Keep spreading hate.
