Parallel economy: How Russia is defying the West's boycott
- hilux 3y agoThis is Al Jazeera. But since the war began, the Western media have indulged in some seriously wishful thinking about the impact of sanctions on Russia. They've fallen into the trap of giving their readers and watchers "what they want to hear," rather than what's objectively true. The same seems true of coverage of other politically charged topics. Hard to know what to believe. (That's why I browse non-Western media online.)
