In Germany of all places? You'd think they'd worry about the lignite mines and power plants first.
- reducesuffering 2y agoThen you'd mistakenly think that those people were doing any actual thinking...
- piva00 2y agoThe arson was about localised issues (as another comment mentioned, groundwater and local deforestation), so yeah, they could think about the bigger picture for environmental impact but instead they focused on the local one. You can probably worry about big and small problems at the same time, it's not like because the world is burning that you will allow or ignore a company contaminating the groundwater you and your neighbours use.
