The 3D map view is intriguing, I wonder where they are sourcing those from.
- cozzyd 2y agoI could be wrong but it doesn't look like a real place to me. It's purportedly 3 miles from Stanford shopping center, so almost certainly supposed to be Tesla's engineering HQ, but it looks like it's surrounded by a dense city rather to than an office park that from satellite view looks like mostly parking. Now I haven't been back to Palo Alto much since I graduated from undergrad 15 years ago, but I doubt that Page Mill Road now has the built environment of Lakeview, Chicago... Edit: actually this is probably Tesla projecting what Page Mill road will look like when this finally comes out in 2525....
- gamblor956 2y agoIt's definitely a mock-up, or the prototype has serious issues with geography.
