I'm so glad not to be in the job market right now. I didn't think it could get any worse than whiteboarding leetcode, but here we are in 2024 having to solve captchas just to talk to other human beings.

- nicbou 2y ago"The great logging off" starts to make sense. At some point the only trustworthy interactions must happen in real life, in real time, between unassisted humans. If there is growing risk that you're conversing with bots every time you talk to a stranger online, people will do it less.
