- vintagedave 3y agoI knew many things were implemented but not 'where', so thanks :) The article is a fascinating slice of history, and a view into an alternate world of how CSS could have worked. Even if the features remained, the different method of applying styles is... well, a parallel world, alternate history.
- moritzwarhier 3y agoSkimming the text, this seems like a decent quick intro to the CSSOM as it is relevant today: https://css-tricks.com/an-introduction-and-guide-to-the-css-object-model-cssom/ https://css-tricks.com/an-introduction-and-guide-to-the-css-... it also says: > That W3C document is a somewhat decent way to get familiar with what’s possible with the CSSOM, but it’s a complete disaster for anyone looking for some practical coding examples that put the CSSOM APIs into action. so there's that :D
- vintagedave 3y agoHaha... thanks. I'll read both!
