It's difficult to visually distinguish GGV from the good ol' Mollweide Hemispheres projection (https://www.jasondavies.com/maps/mollweide-hemispheres/ https://www.jasondavies.com/maps/mollweide-hemispheres/). As an added benefit, Mollweide projections are equal-area.
